The LookUp Story

It all started in a Taco Bell drive-thru.

I’m waiting in a long line, inching toward the pick-up window. Not having anything else to do, I noticed that the car in front of me is plastered with bumper stickers—the kind that let you know the person behind the wheel is mad at the world.

Suddenly an image popped into my head. It was a circle, with an upward arrow inside of the circle.  I clearly sensed that this was a “God thing.” And I thought that it could be the perfect compliment to the “fishes” you see on the back of Christians’ cars. It sent a chill down my spine. I grabbed and paid for my food and went on my way. But the image of the symbol didn’t go away.

The next day, a word came to me—LookUp—and I knew right away that it was supposed to go with the symbol. The chill down my spine returned. I realized I had to pay attention to this.

My profession is marketing, so I sat down and started asking myself questions. What does this mean? Who is it for? How would they use it?

Much has transpired from those first days, and now LookUp is a line of Christian apparel and gift items that help you live your faith in a practical day-to-day way. And the LookUp story continues to be written by anyone who wears a LookUp Christian t-shirt or hoodie or sips coffee from a LookUp mug.

The symbolism of LookUp is simple and powerful: complete and never-ending life can only be found in a life focused on God, and we are to look up to him for all of life’s answers.

LookUp is a non-threatening way to share your faith, and a reminder for you to stay connected with God on a daily basis. It’s not religion—it’s a lifestyle. It’s our hope and prayer that you use LookUp to draw closer to God and to tell others about him.

Live it. Wear it. Share it.
